WYNNEWOOD, Okla. — There is no evidence of human remains at the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park, an animal refuge once owned by "Joe Exotic."

Cadaver dogs brought in as part of the filming of another show “Ghost Adventures” both alerted to the same area, prompting the dogs’ handlers to call officials, convinced they had found human remains, KOCO reported.

Garvin County Sheriff's Office and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation searched the property Friday.

Jeff Lowe currently operates the park. He is trying to open another facility called "Tiger King Park" in Thackerville, Oklahoma.

The zoo was previously owned by Joseph Maldonado-Passage, also known as "Joe Exotic," who was featured in the Netflix documentary "Tiger King." He is currently serving 22 years in federal prison for his role in a murder-for-hire plot to kill animal rights activist Carole Baskin in Florida.

A federal judge in a June ruling granted Baskin’s Big Cat Rescue control of the zoo. In the ruling, the animal rescue had 120 days to remove the animals from the park.
