Virtually Anna Maria Island

When are we going to stop having “one of those days?”

Oh, sometime around Phase three...four. But a long car ride is still my favorite way to destress and Anna Maria Island is still my favorite place to cruise through. I'll admit I was curious on how the progress on the City Pier was going after the devastation by Hurricane Irma. As you can see, pretty well.

It's going to be some time before it's finished and opened but in the meantime the beaches are open under Phase One restrictions. Local businesses can use the boost (and I only had one scoop from Two Scoops). Even if you take the photos from the safety of your car and on the sidewalk wearing a mask, it's still beautiful.

I’d love to see where your happy places are in our beautiful state. Feel free to share but share safely. We’re all in this together.
