Anyone who’s ever tried to lose weight knows eventually you hit that brick wall and it takes forever for the next pound or two to disappear. That’s exactly what’s I’ve gone through for the last few weeks, but now it’s a solid 14 pound weight loss. Just this morning I grabbed a pair of jeans and realized how loose they were. Now that’s the way to start a Monday! I’ve had some fun with looking for food prep short cuts and found these at Sprouts on Sunday. They just added them a few weeks ago so you might have missed them.
I always have frozen bananas in the freezer to add to smoothies as well as avocado. But I’m the worst at remembering to cut them up and have ended up tossing way too many. No worries here, and they are much lower in sugar that bananas so they are an excellent way to cut extra sugar. The texture is excellent and you never taste them. The other item I use (sparingly) is the Premium Protein Chocolate Coffee Blend that comes with the coffee and chocolate mixed right in. I use about half a scoop to keep the caffeine content a little lower but it does make for a nice smoothie. I will add extra whey protein and it’s a wonderful quick meal for the ride it.
