Watch Those Christmas Recyclables

Hillsborough County firefighters had to get out of a burning Northdale home yesterday when what they called military grade flamethrowers in the house started to explode. The homeowner is suspected of setting the home on fire and running away. He's in custody and the case is under investigation.

Waste Management Recycles takes care of recycling for both Pinellas and Hillsborough counties and they want us to be careful when getting rid of Christmas debris. A lot of that get tangled in the sorting process, damaging or even breaking the machines. We have some good advice for you here.

Infants' Ibuprofen Concentrated Oral Suspension that is sold at Walgreen's, Family Dollar and CVS is under recall. Tri Pharma issued the recall after potentially have higher concentrations of ibuprofen that would not be safe for were detected. Complete information on the recall is here.

Lou PInellas will not make it into the Baseball Hall of Fame for now. He fell one vote short on Sunday. The late George Steinbrenner also did not make the cut this time around. Tampa's Tony LaRussa was elected; you can see the full list of inductees here.
