Will vaping be banned in Florida where there are already no-smoking bans in place? A State Senate panel has until July 1st to complete their work. There have been two reports of exploding vaping pens recently that killed the users.
The American Lung Association released their annual State of Tobacco Control report last week, and Florida received a grade of "F". A lot of teens using e-cigarettes contributed to that grade. There are five factors that are weighed in grading and Florida had a failing grade in four out of five. You can see the full report here.
WalletHub is out with their list of best and worst states for singles, and Florida takes the top spot for the best place to be a single person. They ranks states based on dating economics, dating opportunities, and romance and fun. Last year Florida was 29th on the list.
The Florida State Fair opens Thursday at the State Fairgrounds in Tampa off I-4. Opening Day is designated as Heroes Day for active and retired military/veterans/police/firefighters/first responders. They get in free with ID. and can bring up to 3 family members.
