Starting Monday, anyone 50 and older is eligible for the coronavirus vaccination. The state estimates that 70% of Florida seniors have been vaccinated so it’s time to open things up a little more. If you’re planning on going to the FEMA site on Waters Avenue in Tampa at the Greyhound Track the first dose vaccinations will end on Tuesday, After that beginning Wednesday, the site will switch to second dosages only. Thanks to an overwhelming amount of spring-breakers around Miami, there’s now an 8 pm curfew around South Beach. Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber said things have gotten way out of hand and at one point the SWAT team was called in. The order will stay in effect through April 12th.

The IRS has pushed the tax deadline back from April 15th to May 17th. A substantial backlog of taxes filed in 2019 may be part of the reason along with requests from lawmakers.

The Tampa Bay Rays will now allow fans in the stands at Tropicana Field for regular season games. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 26 at 10 a.m. in the MLB Ballpark app and at RaysBaseball.com. Fans will be seated in pods of six and must wear masks. The 300 level will be open to accommodate more fans, and for now capacity will be 9,000 but could change.
