Miami Beach police said a witness started taking video Tuesday after Sharon Martinez-Lazaro crashed through the Fernandez Food Market, WTVJ reported.

“Don’t put your backpack on, ma’am, you almost killed that homeless lady,” witness Brian Prahl can be heard saying on the video.

Martinez-Lazaro, 27, of Los Angeles, then started collecting her luggage and backpack before walking off clad in 6-inch high heels.

“I don’t even know if she was in shock,” Prahl, who works as a celebrity videographer, told WTVJ. “She was more concerned about her designer bag, her stupid backpack she put on. I was like, ‘Why are you putting your backpack on? Now you’re going to flee the scene.’”

She ended up leaving. Police said she got into the back seat of a Chrysler after the driver of it told her to get in, WTVJ reported.

She was later taken into custody. She was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and property damage, police said.

The driver of the Chrysler, Bobby Stone, was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact. Both have been released from jail on bond.
