Coos County District Attorney Paul Frasier confirmed to the newspaper that Nicholson has been charged with six counts of first-degree murder, one count of first-degree attempted murder, one count of first-degree assault and two counts of failure to perform duties of a driver to injured persons.

Nicholson could also face charges in Springfield, Oregon, where police said he abducted 34-year-old Laura Johnson as she returned to her parking spot during her lunch break Friday.

“He approached her in her vehicle with a gun,” Johnson’s father, Dennis Johnson, told KEZI-TV. “They said she was forced to drive 33 hours to where they’re at. She was able to talk him into turning himself in.”

Nicholson is suspected of killing his father, Charles Simms Nicholson, whose body was found Friday inside a trailer in an RV campground of The Mill Casino in North Bend. He is also wanted in a separate hit-and-run while driving his father’s pickup truck that killed Anthony Oyster, 74, at the campground and critically injured his wife, 73-year-old Linda Oyster, Frasier confirmed to KPTV.

Oen Evan Nicholson is then accused of shooting and killing Jennifer Davidson, 47, at a North Bend marijuana dispensary, the TV station reported.
