Man drove through Florida church, lit fire with parishioners inside, deputies say

OCALA, Fla. — A man drove through the front doors of a Florida church Saturday then set it on fire while parishioners were still inside, investigators said.

No one inside Queen of Peace Catholic Church, in Ocala, was seriously injured, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said.

The suspect led deputies on a brief chase before he was detained. His identity has not yet been released.
