Visitors are returning to Florida in record numbers, and that’s just for the first three months of this year. The state reported 36 million visitors to the sunshine state for January - March, a substantial 40% increase from this time last year. Visit Florida estimates 95% of those are from out of state, the rest international visitors.
The second round of the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs begin tonight with the Lightning over in Sunrise to take on the Florida Panthers with the puck dropping just after 7 am. Game two will also be in Sunrise with the Bolts back for games three and four. Game three is at 1 pm Sunday, and game four at 7pm in AMALIE Arena. The Lightning will host a watch party tonight in Thunder Alley. You can bring chairs down as early as 5 pm, with the party starting at 6 pm. For details, please check here.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office K9 Officer Toby helped find a woman with dementia who was missing over the weekend. Deputy Craig Lariz and his partner K-9 Toby found her in a wooded area Sunday after she walked away from her home. She was airlifted to the hospital suffering from severe dehydration. Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister encouraged the public to take advantage of the Safety Net program which uses a tracking bracelet.

The Tampa Bay Bucs have their schedule from the NFL, and will have five games in prime time. The first will be Sept. 11th at 8:20 pm at Dallas in Sunday Night Football.
