“Resilience” Launch Lights Up Night Sky

A four-person crew of three Americans and one Japanese astronaut launched from Launch Pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center just after 7:30 pm Sunday, heading for the International Space Station. The six-month operational mission is the first for the SpaceX Dragon capsule. NASA astronauts Mike Hopkins, Victor Glover, and Shannon Walker and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Soichi Noguchi should dock at the ISSS Tuesday.

Over 10,000 new COVID-19 cases were recorded Sunday. The 10,105 confirmed cases bring the state total to 885,201, with 17,518 Florida resident deaths. As cleanup continues from Tropical Storm Eta, yet another storm is threatening Nicaragua and northeastern Honduras. Hurricane Iota may be a Category Two or as strong as a Category Four with as much as 20-30 inches of rain. Hurricane Eta struck the same area less than two weeks ago. The Bucs made it to Charlotte on midnight of game day Sunday when their plane was delayed by mechanical issues for 6 1/2 hours. They went on to beat the Carolina Panthers Sunday 46-23. Up next. it’s a home game against the Rams on Monday night, Nov. 23rd.

The Tampa Bay Sports Commission has put out the welcome sign for the Toronto Raptors to make Amalie Arena their home court if they’re not allowed to play in Toronto. Toronto’s travel restrictions due to COVID-19 may keep the team in the U.S. They’re reportedly looks at sites that include Tampa, as well as Fort Lauderdale, Nashville, Louisville, Kansas City, Newark and Buffalo. The NBA season is supposed to begin again near the end of December.
