Red tide is back in the Bay area. Florida Fish and Wildlife said samples taken in Pinellas, Manatee and Sarasota counties showed concentrations of the bloom. The areas you’ll want to avoid if you have respiratory issuess are near Madeira Beach, and to the south near Bradenton Beach and Venice.

Rob Gronkowski stays off the field for tonight’s Bucs game against the Eagles at 8:20 pm. Gronk is recovering from cracked ribs and a collapsed lung he suffered after the Rams game. Lavonte David and Antoine Winfield Jr will also sit this one out. The Bucs had no problem against the Miami Dolphins at Raymond James Stadium last Sunday afternoon with a 45-17 win. Tom Brady threw for over 400 yards with five touchdowns for the win. The Bucs are now 4-1 heading into tonight’s game.

Former Tampa Bucs coach Jon Gruden resigned as coach of the Las Vegas Raiders after he was accused of sending what was described as a “racially insensitive” email involving DeMaurice Smith, executive director of the NFL Players Association ten years ago. Now the Tampa Bay Bucs have removed Gruden’s name from the Ring of Honor and EA Sports it taking Gruden out of Madden 22 . Raiders Special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia will take over as the Raiders’ interim head coach.
