Brace yourself - AAA is predicting a record-breaking holiday travel season with more than one-third of Americans traveling. The busiest days to fly are  Saturday, Dec. 22, Sunday, Dec. 23 and Wednesday, Dec. 26.

The Bucs fall to 5-9 after losing to the Ravens Sunday 20-12. With that loss the Bucs are out of playoff contention for the 11th year in a row.

Former Speaker of the House and FSU President T.K. Wetherell died Sunday at age 72. He had been suffering from cancer.

St Pete City Council voted to ban plastic straws and styrofoam products at Thursday’s meeting. It will go into effect January 1st, 2020. A lot of businesses have already stopped using plastic straws when the No Straws St. Pete campaign began.

Christmas decorations

Time is running out to get those packages shipped in time for Christmas. Lines are already long at the Post Office and it’s only going to get worse from here. If you’re wondering when you need to get things shipped we have the deadline list for you here.

Waste Management Recycles takes care of recycling for both Pinellas and Hillsborough counties and they want us to be careful when getting rid of Christmas debris. A lot of that get tangled in the sorting process, damaging or even breaking the machines. We have some good advice for you here.
