Puerto Rico Without Power

All of Puerto Rico is without power after being struck by Hurricane Fiona over the weekend. Fiona was upgraded to a hurricane right before landfall Sunday afternoon. The United States is offering federal assistance in the aftermath of the third named hurricane of the season. NASA has adjusted the new launch date for the Artemis rocket with the window opening at 11:37 am on Tuesday, September 27th, with the backup launch date of October 2nd launch window opening at 6:47 am. A demonstration test is still scheduled for the 21st. Leaks scrubbed the first launch attempts at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Employees at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa are getting a raise. Some 1,500 employees who fall into the “non-tipped” category will be making from $18 to $21 per hour as announced Monday by Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming.
