A Polk County Sheriff’s deputy is under arrest and faces second degree felony threat charges. Sheriff Grady Judge help a press conference Tuesday naming 29-year-old Peter Heneen as deputy charged with making threats against the Capitol. It was a fellow deputy who turned Heneen in over violent text messages. Heneen has been with the PCSO for six years and faces the loss of his job.

The Florida Department of Health is concerned that people aren’t showing up for their second dose of the Moderna coronavirus vaccine. Over 41,000 people are overdue for the necessary second dose which can give you up to 95% effectiveness against contracting COVID-19. Without that second dose it falls to 50%.
