Need Help After The Storm?

What a Wednesday! That first tornado that tore through parts of Pinellas Park came very close to us here at The Dove, and we’re all okay. The National Weather Service will be out later today to check damage but we know you might need help right now. Here’s where to go.

The American Red Cross can offer emergency help for you and the family, and if you’d like to make a donation those are greatly appreciated.

Check with your county or city for extra debris pickup from storm damage. If you’re still without power the Duke Energy site has updates here and if you see lines down, please don’t try and move debris off them. Call first for help. For TECO customers please check here for updates and assistance. At my most recent check it looked like power was restored to most of you. Thanks to the men and women who worked to hard overnight to get that done.

It’s a good day to be a good neighbor. Remember, it’s safety first and wear your mask. If you’d like to thank someone for going above and beyond to make sure you’re safe and taken care of you can send an open mic @1055thedove. We’re all in this together.
