The Ybor City Hamburger Mary's has closed for good. They made the announcement last night on Facebook. The restaurant lost a great deal of business after a worker there was diagnosed with Hepatitis A. Their other locations are open.
Governor Rick Scott will move on to a Senate seat after defeating Senator Bill Nelson. Ron DeSantis will be the next governor of Florida winning a tight race against Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum.

TECO has some good news for their customers. You should see the lowest monthly electric bills in 13 years starting in January. The Florida Public Service Commission approved TECO's projected costs for fuel and other clauses on Monday.

The Florida Department of Transportation will install a pilot program to detect wrong-way drivers on the Howard Frankland after two serious crashes. It will be installed over the next few weeks. FDOT says the system has a 94% accuracy rate but the biggest problem remains people who drink and drive.
