There was plenty of damage as well from the strong winds and power outages. Calmer weather is expected today with a 20% for rain and a high of 84.

The severe weather also had vaccination and testing sites shutting down early and that included the FEMA site on Waters Avenue in Tampa. If you had an appointment you should be contacted to reschedule. You can also do walk-ups today without an appointment at the Tampa Greyhound Track, Raymond James Stadium and the Children’s Board locations.
