When it comes to a brand, why mess with success? But once again, someone is. This time, it’s the iconic Oscar Meyer Weinermobile. But not for long according to Kraft Heinz, the parent company of Oscar Mayer. It will now be known as the “Frankmobile” with a new design for the first time since 1936. But really, does that name have the same panache as “Weinermobile”? I think not, but I’m not in charge.
Then, they’re this which I like quite a bit from Heinz. You know the drink machines that allow you to pick and choose and mix your favorites? This also comes from Heinz, and it will allow us to customize our condiments. The Heinz Remix puts the Heinz 57 to shame with over 200 combinations. I say yes on this one!
Finally, from the World Health Organization (WHO) is a new advisory on non-sugar sweeteners, as in don’t use them. The issue for WHO is what they say “indicates no long-term benefit for losing body fat in children or adults, and may contribute to type 2 diabetes, cardio-vascular disease and mortality in adults” with their use. But will that keep you away from them? My choice is for something plant-based, not chemical.
