It could be worse than the fridge in the office breakroom - what’s going on with your Thanksgiving leftovers? If it looks like they could walk out all by themselves it’s time to ditch the things that look a little fuzzy and don’t exactly have that pine fresh scent.
So how safe is safe? Leftovers that are frozen obviously have a longer shelf life but when it come to the turkey in the fridge it should get tossed after 3-4 days. Oh, and that “beloved” green bean casserole should be out of there as well and it usually becomes a big, mushy mess if you freeze it. So forget that. As far as the rest goes check this list for food safety tips. And although I highly doubt there’s any pie left 4 days for pumpkin, 3 for apple.
But did you make the ultimate leftover sandwich? Let’s see those pics and share the leftover love in Ann Kelly’s Kitchen. You can tag us with those @1055thedove on Facebook and Instagram. Now on to those Christmas cookies!
