Rich Fierro is the US Army veteran who apprehended the Q Nightclub shooter in Colorado Springs saving countless lives. In my eyes he is a true hero, and I don’t use that word lightly. Here’s a statement from the family about that horrendous night.

While Rich will claim he was just acting on his training, the fact that he acted in the way he did clearly saved everyone else’s lives at that club that night. Personally I feel people like Rich deserve our respect and support. Thankfully one easy way to support him is to buy something from the local brewery that his wife Jess started a few years back, Atrevida Beer Co. I know we have tons of amazing local breweries here, and I encourage everyone to patronize those as well, but if you were looking for a small way to support and reward a truly great human, maybe grabbing a shirt from Rich and his family is an easy and nice way to just say “thank you”.
