Full disclosure before I talk about some unusual food combos. I’m someone who likes a peanut butter and pickle sandwich. I’m just weird that way. But, hey, there’s a few others out there now courtesy of the Uber Eats Craving Report. I’m sure at Uber Eats, they’ve seen it all. They refer to the list as the “unexpected food combos” requests and they are interesting. Now, ham and cream cheese isn’t too bad, but applesauce pizza? I’d take pineapple before that.

Then there’s Fruit Roll-Up and Hot Cheetos (don’t we already use them on a whole lot of food, like a coating), pickles and whipped cream, dark chocolate and tomato sauce which isn’t too bad. Think about a nice balsamic reduction with tomatoes and that’s a close second. I think. But would you put mustard on watermelon? Apparently some of us do. I go for salt.

But there’s more on the list and if you want to play a rousing game of name that food when you’re wearing a blindfold, I say go for it. Keep the Tums handy, though.
