My heart is my number one priority in Ann Kelly’s Kitchen. Putting less stress on it does take a little more work these days. Diet and exercise those are two things I can control. Stress, well, that’s another thing. So we go to the expert in Ann Kelly’s Kitchen with Psychologist Dr. Catherine Athans to talk about one of her books called “The Heart Brain”, which discussed how stress, anxiety and burnout can put us at an increased risk for disease. But it also offers solutions for a more peaceful mind and healthy body. Enjoy my chat with Dr. Athans.
The Ann-Ventures I take are a major way of shaking off the stress and with the added benefit of all those steps, I’ve lost just over five pounds in less than two weeks and am so happy about that. It’s taking a little extra work to prep healthy meals, and two of those usually come in here with me each morning. Breakfast around 3, lunch around 8. It’s so important that my last meal of the day be about 3 hours before I go to bed so when you’re having lunch, I’m having dinner! But it’s all good for the heart.
