It’s not the Halloween we’re used to, but it’s still a scary good time at Busch Gardens where Howl-O-Scream is back. It’s a modified version to allow for your safety with reservations a must due to limited capacity. But rest assured what you’ve come to expect in over two demented decades will be there, just a little different. Brace yourself as you carefully tread through ten open air scare zones which include four all-new zones for physically distant frights!
But your health and safety is Busch Garden’s number one priority. What to be aware of is physical distancing, wearing face masks and sanitization stations. And for those making the night as scary as possible there’s modified scare actor training along with physically distant prep and break space accommodations for scare actors. You bet that’s a lot of extra work, but it’s how they’re been able to come back.
So what’s it actually going to be like? Communications leader Rebecca Romzek took a break from the frightful fun to give me a behind-the-scenes look at what’s going on every Friday through Sunday through November 1st. Make your reservations now right here. Don’t forget that I’ll have tickets all this week (10/5-10/9) in Dove Morning Trivia at 7:10. It’s one pair per winner with a park pass.
