Good For What Ails Me

Truth be told, I don’t mind a day off. I do mind when that day off means I can’t even get out of bed thanks to the flu and no strength whatsoever. This strain is a major pain, and yes, I did test for COVID-19. But the usual temperature, not even wanting to look at solid food aside from crackers is a pretty solid indication that I needed to stay away from everyone this past weekend. But what my friend Ashley turned me on to works wonders.

You may have gone through and asked for a “medicine ball” one of those off-the-menu items. But for those in the know, the recipe is simple and unbelievably good. Here’s what you need:

-Celestial Seasonings Citrus Sunrise Herbal Supplement Vitamin C Shine tea; and their Country Peach Passion tea. I did make a little change and really loved the Ginger Peach Turmeric tea.

-Add to that two packets of True Lemon powdered lemon. And yes, I did leave this out, but it’s your choice.

-Then, I took advantage of the yummy honey stir sticks from my dear sister Tricia, and WOW is this a great drink! You can use one tablespoon of honey.

Apparently I’m late to the game on this comforting drink, since Scotti from Hot 101.5 also told me how much he loves it as well. I’ve had two cups this fine day and will make it a regular. I’m still getting my strength back, but all in good time. If you have a secret recipe you’d like to share with me, tag me on Facebook! Stay healthy, my friends.
