Disney Holiday Delights

There’s no doubt that we first eat with our eyes, the true window to the soul. When you look over the menu for the first time, see other diner’s choices sail past your table and you change your mind a few million times, that is a true dining delight. After two days on the Disney Magic, my heart, soul and tummy are quite happy. It’s been an impressive start to my five night cruise.

Two delightful dining experiences to share from the Animator’s Palate and Palo. Let’s start with Animators for my first night on the Disney Magic out of the port of Miami which by the way has one spectacular shoreline. If you’ve been very good, the very walls come to life in the Palate. The precise description from Disney describes the cuisine as a savory fusion of Pacific Island foods, Asian cooking and fresh California fare. We simply called it delicious and wanted seconds. The fun is really in sharing dishes and experiences, and I think you’ll love these mouth-watering pictures which will most definitely make you make reservations when you enjoy your own cruise that you can enter to win for four right now!

Lazy Sunday mornings are meant for long, decadent brunches with friends at Palo which is the adult-exclusive restaurant on the 10th deck with a magnificent view. The five of us tasted about half of the entire menu which has perfectly sized portions, totally shareable with friends. The antipasti, both breakfast and lunch selection and a dessert menu that dream are made of, as is the champagne and wine selections. If you can’t share Dom Perignon with friends, who can you share it with? Palo receives my highest recommendation both for service and menu selections!

Need to know more about taking the cruise that’s been put on hold for way too long? Just click here and have that back-up plan to win a cruise for four. An easy ride from the Tampa Bay side to Miami and you’re back cruising with your favorite cast members on the Disney Magic. I’m so happy to be back onboard and hope to see you real soon!
