My thanks to Belleair Mayor Frank Katica for the personal phone call last week to let me know just how nice the Friday Fresh Market is. And that there was absolutely no pressure to drop by and see that for myself! That’s exactly how I wrapped up last week, and it was such a pleasure. To stroll around the grounds on Indian Rocks Road and Gardenia, right next to the Country Club was relaxing and extremely tasty.

   Let’s start with the nice young lady from Bread, who will also be at the Hyde Park Fresh Market this Sunday. Ask her for the Cherry Chocolate Rolls that are unbelieveable - even gluten free and never made it home. Nice treat for the road. They have a nice assortment of breads, rolls and more and offer a taste of whatever you like.

   Now, the Strawberry Salsa from Paul and Kathy’s Creations did make it home, and on to my Sunday morning waffles. Sweet, with a touch of heat, but just so good. I’ll be back for more, Kathy! She also had some nice bread and butter pickles, and more. She’s a lovely lady to speak with.

   It’s a nice little market that make for a comfy stroll under the oaks with fresh fruits and veggies, one booth that I have to spend more time in the next visit called the Emotional Gardener (just love the name) and food trucks along the street. Parking is on the side streets, and it’s a good idea to pay attention to the "no parking" zones. It’s right in the heart of Belleair, and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
