I’ve been intrigued and encouraged by just their posts on Facebook to make me want to visit Mazzaro’s Italian Market in St Pete for a long time, and I finally did this week.  What a pure pleasure! I was over at the store on 22^nd Ave very close to lunch time, and it was just jammed full of people doing their shopping, grabbing delicious items for lunch, and visitors who just like me, were just thrilled by the selections. I’m hoping to have a sit down with them soon, but in the meantime I can’t think of anywhere else to head for a fantastic selection of cheeses and wines, fresh pasta and mushroom bar, and so much more. Now I’m ready to plan a party with just the pasta and a fine wine! Nice to see what was also ready to go for lunch, since I was just a little tired out at the end of my day. Headed off to the beach to walk. taking along a delicious  enjoy a chicken salad wrap that just beats any other I’ve had to date. I’ve read many times when celebrity chefs come in to town that Mazzaro’s is one of their favorite places to go, and I fully understand why. But I think next time I’ll try and go a little earlier. Lunch was just jammed but there’s nothing wrong with that. I had the chance to talk with some visitors from Indiana who just loved it and couldn’t wait to come back. Same here! Mazzaro's offers plenty of food to go, along with catering. Hmmmmmmmm!

   Just to let you know that Mazzaro’s is closed on Sundays, but you’ll have plenty of time to stop in before the weekend and choose something for a wonderful Italian feast from the fresh meats and seafood, desserts that may or may not make it home (okay, so my sweet tooth is at fault), a very distinctive wine room along with the marvelous cheese selection.
