If you don’t enjoy this weekend, it’s not our fault! We have beautiful weather and two great events to make you smile in the food world. Saturday, it’s the Safety Harbor Wine Festival from 5 – 11 pm.  Admission is absolutely free on Main Street with samples of over 100 wines at $3-5 per glass, delicious food to go with your libation, and of course entertainment to complete the evening. Can you think of a more relaxing and fun way to spend a Saturday night?

   Then Sunday morning, it’s off to the new and improved Hyde Park Fresh Market, the official sponsor of Kelly’s Kitchen.  Join us in the Park from 10 am – 3 pm rain or shine, and see what we’ve all been raving about. They finally closed the street! More vendors, more space to walk around and of course, better access to all the fine stores in Hyde Park. The vendors are a diverse group with everything from organic and soy-free eggs from Tampa Bay Organic Fitness and Health, even organic fertilizer and growing towers from Whitwam Organics. All your favorites are there and ready to say hello. I’ll see you in front of Sylvia’s Waffles!

   And since a long walk around the Wine Festival or the Fresh Market is always good for the heart, don’t forget the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk at Raymond James Stadium Saturday, Nov. 10^th.
