It’s Sunday afternoon and we’re into reorganizing mode in Kelly’s Kitchen. But I’m waving the white flag for the rest of the day. Ann Kelly needs a few things. They’re called groceries; nice fresh fruits and veggies for a start. Now that the beautiful work from Floor and Decor is complete, I’ve started to reorganize the kitchen cabinets. This is not a one day job! But things are making much more sense, and it’s a great start. What do I use the most? Yes! My baking stash, and it’s now found a much more sensible home in the kitchen’s island, and I can actually find what I need much more easily. All my plastic storage containers used to be there, and quite honestly a lot of them took up way too much space and weren’t used too often. So those have now moved into that lovely little cabinet between the stove and the dishwasher.

But that’s it for now. I know I have a lot more to go. There is no such thing as one project; one gives birth to multiple ideas, and I’d like to enjoy the final few hours of my time off. But on the short list for now; the pantry gets painted and reorganized, and the whole kitchen needs a touch up - the cabinet doors especially, and I’m thinking a warmer tone of yellow on the walls. So my dear friends who have already volunteered for the next painting party, you’ll be getting an invitation soon!
