Water, water everywhere…but how much should we drink? I drink a lot of water every day; most medical pros will tell you we need to drink around 8 cups a day (64 ounces). More of course with the amount of activity you’re into. But why do we need to? When do you know if you’re not drinking enough and you’re dehydrated? First obvious sign is you’re thirsty, and possibly experiencing a horrible headache that won’t stop. Add to that exhaustion, and more serious signs such as your coordination and judgment becoming affected, back pain and more. So keeping hydrated is important, especially in our heat and humidity. What shouldn’t you reach for? Soda, drinks with way too much sugar, and alcohol. I think all of my excuses about drinking way too much soda can be eliminated when I have my Filter Fresh bottle at hand!
