Talked to my friends coming into town this weekend for vacation and they’ve informed me of what they’d like from Kelly’s Kitchen, and I’m so happy what they want are some of my favorite recipes. It will make Father’s Day extra tasty. Read and Lori are on their way from Albany, New York where the weather has just been miserable, to our wonderful land of sunshine and a heat index of over 100 degrees…how fast will they go from AC to AC??!! But they’ll be spending a lot of time with Lori’s daughter Alicia and son-in-law Steve, so I’m going to take care of a few meals for them. Some will hit the grill, and I think I’ll also pick up some boneless chicken breasts for that easy Zesty Slow Cooker Barbeque Chicken, along with one I haven’t tried before, but saw on Five Ingredient Fix on the Food Network. It’s a Flourless Peanut Butter Cookie that sounds great, especially if I throw in some chocolate chips.
