We’re kicking off the New Year in style in Kelly’s Kitchen at First Night St Petersburg, Florida’s largest First Night Celebration. Ann Kelly here and you’ll find me on the main stage all night long. This family friendly celebration has events all over downtown St Petersburg that include silly fun with bubbles, storytelling, music and entertainment and of course fireworks, fireworks, and more fireworks!    So will you be making any New Year’s Resolutions…which will probably all be broken within a week? Survey says that the #1 resolution is to lose weight, and that’s something we all struggle with on a daily basis. So why not start the New Year off right with me in Kelly’s Kitchen and a visit to the Hyde Park Village Fresh Market! A nice walk around the park is the perfect way to work off a few calories, right?!

   The Market is the first Sunday of every month, and since New Year’s Day is the first Sunday this month, come down and enjoy delicious items from the many vendors, offering everything from fresh breads and pasta, locally produced honey, Southern-style foods, herbs and organic produce, live music and much more. I’ll be stopping in Sunday morning myself to meet the vendors and enjoy the abundance of locally produced items. The Market open at 10 am, so if you’re out late celebrating the New Year, it’s not too early! It stays open until 3 pm with complimentary parking. And don’t stop at just The Fresh Market, enjoy all the great restaurants and stores throughout the Village and get to know Hyde Park Village all over again!
