So what will it be this weekend? I know most of you have the special Christmas cookie recipes ready to go, and so much to do! I hope you have the chance to back with your kids; it’s a wonderful way to spend time with them and indulge their own creative instincts. I was watching Martha Stewart, along with her Mom and her nice on a Cooking Channel special all about cookies, and I couldn’t help but wonder just how long that show took to do! No pressure at all…

   But if you’d like to take a break for lunch with the whole crew in between baking sessions this weekend, I have a couple delectable choices for you from Kelly’s Kitchen. On Sunday, we have our Magic 94.9 Champagne Brunch at the Lobster Pot Bistro on Clearwater Beach. I’ll be there from noon – 2 pm, and after tasting some extremely delicious dishes last week, I’m going to try a few new ones this Sunday! You can view the menu here, which is subject to change. But I can highly recommend the Open Face Lobster BLT which was finished with an herb aioli that was out of this world, and the Chicken and Waffles was perfection. That was an unexpected item on the menu, but my guests loved it. And everyone loves the Magic 94 cent Mimosas!

   If you can’t wait until Sunday to indulge, which not check out St Pete’s first food truck rally? They now expect to hold them on a regular basis every Saturday for the next three weeks. This Saturday, it’s at the Value Fair Market at 3951 34^th St South. They expect around 20 trucks, even wine and craft beers, and to keep the adrenalin flowing, a drum circle! The rally goes from 11 am – 3 pm
