Veggin' Out With a Free Book!

Peas and Thank You
Peas and Thank You

You’re not leaving this table until you eat all your vegetables. Sure, works every time! Welcome in to Kelly Kitchen, where not only are fruits and vegetables welcome, but first on the menu. It’s Ann Kelly, and I know it’s not always easy to get the kids to eat what is considered “good” for them. But, when they’re enjoying some of their favorite foods like chili, pizza and even sweet treats like German Chocolate cake, just don’t tell them it’s part of an incredibly health vegetarian menu. I had a great chat with Sarah Matheny, whose cookbook “Peas and Thank You, Simple Meatless Meals the Whole Family Will Love” is out in bookstores now. Sarah went from beyond stressed-out divorce and custody attorney to cookbook author and food blogger, and along the way the whole family enjoys a vegetarian diet…and the kids love it! Ever wondered how to introduce something like that to your household, even in bits and pieces! Hear from Sarah Metheny on how Peas and Thank You can make your family meatless and happy.

FREE STUFF ALERT!

Sarah was also gracious enough to invite everyone who visits Kelly’s Kitchen to send in their regular recipes and she’ll convert those to a vegetarian version. How cool is that? Send those to her at www.peasandthankyou.com, and let me know how those turned out. And how’s this for an added bonus! If you have a favorite vegetarian recipe, send it to 949comments@coxtampa.com, and I’ll choose two to receive a copy of Sarah’s book!

Here’s news from Kelly’s Kitchen for next week; I’ll have some incredible advice for everyone who’s trying their best to save with coupons and all those special offers from Carrie Rocha, who has a great site called www.pocketyourdollars.com that helps us all make sense and keep the extreme couponing in perspective
