Governor Rick Scott says he’ll repay donations to his campaign from gambling groups linked to the scandal that led to the resignation of former Lt Governor Jennifer Carroll last week out of his own pocket. That will come to $2,000 for the four checks. Carroll resigned after her work for the Allied Veterans groups who ran the internet cafes was revealed.

The family of James Seevakumaran, is describing him as a loner without a history of violence. His body was discovered by campus police after the dorms at UCF were evacuated yesterday.
