Trouble at TIA And Onboard The Legend

Officials at Tampa International Airport are still trying to figure out how a man from Atlanta, headed to Bike Week in Daytona fell to his death in an elevator shaft at the parking garage Friday. Maintenance workers found Chad Wolf’s body that morning after his family had reported him missing.

Another malfunctioning Carnival Cruise ship returned to Port in Tampa Sunday morning with a lot of unhappy passengers. The Carnival Legend had to skip their stop in the Grand Caymans after a propulsion problem that couldn’t be fixed at sea. There were three Carnival ships had problems last week.

Another Florida panther dies after being struck by a car and ironically, on Florida Panther Day this past Saturday. They found the male cat Saturday morning in the southwest part of the state, the seventh hit this year.

It’s not something we see every day off the coast of Treasure Island, but some guys out for a day of fishing snagged a great white shark about thirty miles out. They think it was about 18 feet long, but since it’s a protected species couldn’t be brought on board to measure.
