Former President George H Bush was hospitalized for bronchitis in Houston. Doctors say they hope to have him out in time for the weekend, but are keeping an eye on him due to a lingering cough. George H is the oldest living former president.

At least someone around here got lucky in the record breaking Powerball drawing this week. A two million dollar winner is reported to have been sold in Haines City. That ticket matched five numbers. The winning tickets for the $579.9 million were sold in Missouri and Arizona.

Day two of the trial of Dee-Dee Moore, the woman accused of killing Polk County lottery winner Abraham Shakespeare had the judge scolding her more than once about making faces in court. The jury also saw an hour long video with a detective asking about Moore and Shakespeare’s finances.

Cornelius, the former mystery monkey has a new home in Dade City. Florida Fish and Wildlife officials released the macaque to trapper Vernon Yates yesterday, who said he’ll take him to Dade City’s Wild Things, where a larger, but temporary cage are set up for him, along with a female companion.

Wheel of Fortune is coming to the Mahaffey December 9-10th for a contestant search. Everyone gets an application and you must be at least 18. Details on the Mahaffey website at   themahaffey.com/show/Wheel-of-Fortune/188 .

NASA has confirmed the Messenger probe has found ice on Mercury’s North Pole. Messenger is the first spacecraft to orbit Mercury, the planet closest to the Sun.
