The Rays David Price has won the Cy Young Award, the first Ray to ever to win what is considered to be one of the most prestigious in baseball, along with MVP. Price came in second in the voting in 2010.

Hillsborough County Animal Services are asking for help in finding the person who abused a dog, leaving it buried up to its neck and shot twice in the head. Control officers found the dog in the back of a vacant house in the Clair-Mel area last month. Jill Kelley no longer has the instant access to MacDill Air Force base she once enjoyed. The Tampa woman is now at the center of the ongoing investigation into the affair of CIA Director David Petraeus and his biographer Paula Broadwell that led to his resignation. Gen. They now have someone in custody that allegedly beat a lineman from Lakeland Electric who was helping to restore power in New York. Thomas Libretto was arrested at his home in Levittown. Authorities are now saying they believe the attack in a parking lot was not triggered by anger over power outages. John Applewhite is back in Tampa for treatment for a broken jaw and cheekbone

The Hillsborough County School bus driver who was kicked an autistic child off the step of here bus, causing the girl to break her ankle, has been suspended without pay. Stephanie Wilkerson was arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse.

Rumor is Darth Vader makes a return in Star Wars Episode Seven. The UK’s Daily Express says despite Vader dying in “Return Of The Jedi” doesn’t mean he can’t return. It is, after all, science fiction.
