The Hillsborough County School District is being sued by the parents of a seven year old girl with Muscular Dystrophy who died after she suddenly stopped breathing. The attorney for the parents of Isabella Herrera parents say that workers on her school bus did not properly tilt her wheelchair back to prevent her head from falling forward and cutting off her air supply, and did not call 911 until the mother got to the bus.

Early voting ends tomorrow and lines are long. Remember to bring a photo ID with you, and they are allowing you to bring a sample ballot along that you can fill out in advance. That will help a lot since the ballot is so long. The election is this Tuesday.

Former President Bill Clinton is making a final campaign sweep on behalf of President Barak Obama this weekend, with a stop today in St Petersburg. He will be at the Coliseum ballroom on Fourth Ave. North with doors opening at 4:45 p.m. There was so specific start time for the event.

They’ve called off the search for the Robin Walbridge, captain of the HMS Bounty. The ship sank south of Cape Hatteras trying to outrun Hurricane Sandy earlier this week. The Coast Guard had rescued 14 crew members earlier, and recovered the body of another.

Frustration continues to build with long gas lines, no power and major traffic back-ups heading into NYC. Superstorm Sandy. So far the storm is blamed for at least 90 deaths, and accounts for billions of dollars in damages. Over four million homes are still without power.

Organizers of the NYC Marathon say they’re going try and pull off Sunday’s scheduled run. The 26.2-mile route through the five boroughs does avoid most of the areas hit hardest by flooding. Almost 50,000 runners were supposed to participate.
