Last night I received what I initially thought was a phone call from my bank, informing me my debit card had been compromised, and they needed to verify my card number. Right…an automated call asking for my personal information? Hung up as fast as I could and called my bank to let them know about the scam. It’s call “phishing” and it’s just more way people try to scam you. We see it mainly on the internet, you know all the junk mail you get on a daily basis? Delete, and if you receive a call like I did, hang up and let your bank know what’s up.
