Bet it caught you by surprise too. Our first named storm of the season showed up off the coast of the Carolina’s over the weekend, and Alberto is pretty much what they call a “fish storm.” Just pretty much over water and no real threat to anyone. But it’s an excellent reminder that the official start of hurricane season for us is June 1st, and now is the time to make sure you have everything in order for yourself, your family, your business. Have that “go kit” prepared with personal papers, food and water, and an evacuation plan. Stay tuned to the Dove and log on to wduv.com for information this storm season.
