Oh come on…how could you believe the claims to begin with? A great figure without working out? Lots did, and because of that, Skechers has been hit with a $40 million dollar fine. The claims, which said Shape-Ups would give you great legs, abs, etc. just by wearing them was found to be unfounded. So the “bottom” line is that if you bought the shoes, you could be eligible for a refund directly from the FTC or through the court-approved class-action lawsuit. Quite honestly, I tried a pair once and they gave me nothing by a backache.
