First...the good news; the Sunshine Skywas was reopened early this morning! But of course since we're still dealing with gusty winds, there's always a chance it could be closed again briefly. But in the meantime, enjoy NOT having to make that long detour! Debbie is no longer a tropical storm, but will make things messy for a day or two. And in case you're wondering, this was the longest period of time for the bridge to be shut. You'd have to go back to Tropical Storm Gabrielle in 2001, and that was for just eight hours then.
She wrote some of the best chick flicks, but we lost Nora Ephron to leukemia yesterday. She was 71. I'm ready to rent "Harry Met Sally” and “Sleepless in Seattle."
Rays lose 8-2 yesterday and now Matt Moore will get the chance today to keep them from getting swept by the Royals.
