Emergency officials are a little concerned about how few people have preregistered for the special needs shelters for hurricane season, and would also like to make sure that pet owners know what they need to do to bring their best friends with them as well. Today is only day one of hurricane season, and we’ve had two named storms already. Take a moment right now and slide over to my Kelly’s Kitchen link and check the hurricane preparedness entry. I have links to the county EOC’s and that’s where you can take care of all of that right now. Don’t wait. It could cost you a great deal more than your time in case of evacuation.
