Explore the Vegetable Garden and Compost Demonstration Areas to learn more about growing your own food.Marvel at the eye-catching array of culinary, medicinal and aromatic herbs, trees and flowers in our enclosed Herb Garden. Wander the brick paths between the Egyptian, Mediterranean, Asian and Beverage plantings and learn how the featured plants can be used in your home. Discover the tropical fruits that do well in our Florida climate including many varieties of bananas, figs, papayas, mangoes, avocados, sugar cane and citrus. You’ll also learn about little-known fruits that are not usually considered by the home gardener including Jackfruit, Carambola, Buddha’s Hand and Pomegranate.View a diversity of plantings including a wide variety of ground covers, bromeliads, palms and power-line friendly trees that can be used in your own landscape.Tours start at 9 AM only and are limited to groups of 4-16 people. Before continuing, we would like to make you aware of our reservation policies. Cancellations - If your class is canceled for any reason you will be notified no less than 24 hours prior to class start. We will provide a full refund for cancellations made by Pinellas County Extension. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process. Payment - We require full payment at time of reservation so be prepared with a credit card to complete this transaction. Refunds - Refunds will be made in the event of a class cancellation or if the registrant requests a refund 24 hours prior to the class time. Reservations - You must be 18 to make a reservation.
