“Domestic Violence For Mental Health ProfesionalsFebruary 21, 2013From 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM  (2 CEU’s:  Domestic Violence)"Domestic Violence for mental health Professionals is a 2 hour course focusing on an integrated framework for responding to trauma and mental health  in the context of domestic violence.  The course will address the dynamics of domestic violence and a brief overview of research, trauma, mental health, substance abuse, impact of trauma on the brain, safety planning, lethality assessment, confidentiality, ethics, boundaries, working with diverse populations and effects of domestic violence on children and adolescents."
