ASIST is a two-day intensive, interactive and practice-dominated course that includes teaching, discussion and videos. This training is recognized as a best practice, skills based training through the National Suicide Prevention Resource Center and is used to train all volunteers through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (1-800-273-TALK). ASIST is an evidence based model that transforms knowledge and theory into operational tools.
