Come to the Osprey Trail, located in the Picnic Area for a guided walk Wednesdays Volunteer Led walk is a short walk of 1/4 mile to see and learn about the Ospreys and other birds of prey. Saturdays Ranger Led walk is a 45 minute walk of 3/4 mile, with different rangers and topics each week. Sundays Volunteer Led Walk is a 45 minute of 3/4 mile, with an optional extended 2 mile round trip to the Eagle nest, and led by volunteers experienced in birding and Osprey nest site monitoring. Where: Meet at the Osprey Trail head, located at the north end of the Picnic Area parking lot at Honeymoon Island State Park. Cost: Free with paid park admission - ($8.00 per car, up to 8 people per carload). November thru February only. Call for details; (727) 469-5942.
