From Broadway to Hollywood, Experience Hidden Lyrical Gems
Friday, January 4 @ 8pm
Saturday, January 5 @ 8pm
Sunday, January 6 @ 6pm
The 1920s and 1930s brought a new generation of lyric writers to Broadway and Hollywood. Paul Wilborn and Blue Roses revisit the works of America’s best lyricists – Ira Gershwin, Lorenz Hart, Cole Porter, Yip Harburg, Andy Razaf, Johnny Mercer and many more in this original cabaret show. You’ll hear classic hits from the Great American Songbook, along with some hidden lyrical gems, and meet the wry and witty Dorothy Parker. The show features Paul Wilborn on piano and vocals, Eugenie Bondurant, both acting and singing, and Frank Bowman on multiple horns. Tickets: “Pay-What-You-Can” $15.00 advance ticket purchase (Suggested donation $10-$20 at the door.)
